After discussing the progress of our game with my group it was very clear that a blockout needed to be completed.  To start this off I ask Ceri to take a screenshot from a bird's eye view of the level in Unreal 4, I then used the brush tool in Photoshop and drew in the basic shapes of where everything was going to go this will now be used for reference for me and Ceri to finish the blockout in Unreal.

After Friday's feedback I went onto researching the structure of Hamlets, Villages, Towns, Cities and Capitals. After finding out what these different types of settlements consist of I loaded up the Age of Empires Map Editor and built a mock set up of a small Hamlet/Village that we could use for layout purposes in our game. The links below are the websites that I used for my research and the screenshots are my experiments in the Map Editor.

Animation Exporting/Importing Test - Aaron

by Cameron Keeler

After feedback last Monday, I was recommended to research into architecture and to attempt drawing buildings in a three dimensional view. The scans below are the books that I have used for research and the drawing is my attempt of three dimensional drawing. I have also added in some tones to create depth and tone. I have left out colour for further development if my group agree with the design. I have also posted a rough layout of one of the possible areas in our game which may be used in our demo.
